Counselling and psychotherapy, near Twyford, between Reading and Maidenhead -RG10

I am not currently taking referrals. I will be returning to work from 7th October.

Hello and welcome. My name is Sue and you’ve taken the first step towards change. Seeking professional support through counselling or psychotherapy can be daunting; I believe it takes great courage and strength to do so.
There are times for all of us when we experience difficulties in our lives. Sometimes we need to talk to someone who is specially trained; a counsellor will listen without judgement and is focussed only on your needs and not their own. Our relationship will be different from any other you may have experienced; with a counsellor nothing is at risk.

I am committed to providing counselling and psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment, easily accessible from Reading, Maidenhead and Wokingham.

I work with individuals both on an open-ended basis, or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully. We can decide together what is appropriate for your needs.

I have over thirteen years of experience in helping clients and have worked with difficulties including :

  • Anger
  • Anxiety
  • Panic Attacks
  • Relationships
  • Bereavement
  • Stress
  • Depression
  • Childhood sexual abuse.

This is not an exhaustive list; feel free to contact me and discuss your needs. I believe choosing a counsellor suited to you is essential;for me the relationship between client and therapist is what is most important. I offer an initial 30 minute session, which enables you to meet me, discuss your needs and have a short no obligation experience of a counselling session. If we decide to continue we will agree a day and time, which will be yours on a weekly basis going forward.

I am based in a peaceful location in Waltham St Lawrence, which is between Reading and Maidenhead, close to Twyford, Charvil, Wokingham, Hurst, Knowl Hill, Harehatch, and White Waltham. I offer both daytime and evening sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
